We help your company find an expert

With the Consultancy Project, you can apply for a financial contribution towards the costs of one or more external experts. This expert will help you test the technical or economic feasibility of your innovative product, process or chain development. The Advisory Project is a financing instrument of LIOF. A great stimulus for the development of your idea!

What does the ConsultingProject entail?

Support for innovations that try to solve tomorrow's challenges;
If approved, 50% financial support (maximum €7,500) for testing the feasibility of an innovation/prototype by an external expert;

You will receive a decision within two weeks after the submission date.

Who is the ConsultingProject for?

The AdvisoryProject is a sector-wide programme specifically for companies based in the province of Limburg and is aimed at start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs.

We are looking for driven and innovative entrepreneurs who can make a positive contribution in the field of one or more of the following transitions: energy, circularity, health and digitalisation.

How to apply?

Before you start, read the regulations of the ConsultingProject.

Step 1: submitting an application

Request the application form. This will be sent to you by e-mail;
A business developer will be assigned to you to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. He/she will read and think along with you and provide you with feedback in order to get your story as clear as possible on paper;
You search for the right expert(s) for your issue and request a quote;
Fill in and submit the request form. Instructions are in the form.

Step 2: Assessment process

After submission, you will receive a message from us whether your application is complete and correct (admissibility);
The assessment will normally take place two weeks after the submission date. After the assessment, we will inform you as soon as possible of the outcome (decision).

Step 3: Implementation and declaration

With a positive decision, you can start working with an external expert or advisor.
At the end of the Consultancy Project, you can claim the costs incurred.
