We have access to a number of cross-border grants, such as Interreg, which can help you strengthen your competitive position.

Loans

LIOF offers convertible loans for developing a viable idea into a fully-fledged business concept, including a business plan, or for the further growth of a company. This is done through the LVFF component of the Limburg Startup Capital Fund (LSFC).

Share capital

Do you have a business but insufficient equity capital for expansion, acquisition or investment in new developments? In that case, LIOF could be the ideal partner for a minority stake in your company. We will then participate in the share capital, either in combination with a subordinated loan or not. This is done through the Participation Fund. We also have a special start-up fund: the SFL component of the Limburg Startup Capital Fund (LSCF). LSCF uses two financial instruments to cover the development of your innovation from idea to market.

We also provide share capital to enable knowledge-intensive start-ups to attract additional (growth) capital or to reach break-even point.
