Two instruments, tailored to the phase of your innovation

The Limburg Startup Capital Fund (LSCF) uses two financial instruments to cover the development of your innovation from idea to market:

the Limburg Early Stage Fund (LVFF): with the LVFF, we finance innovations – whose feasibility has been demonstrated – in the early stages of development (the so-called 'proof of concept' phase).
the Seed Fund Limburg (SFL): the SFL is intended to enable the further development or growth of innovation financially.

Who is it actually for?

You are eligible if your company:

Actually established in Limburg (physically and actively present);
Is in the start-up, scale-up or SME phase of its life cycle;
Has an innovative idea or product/service;
Contributes to economic growth and innovation in the region.

Below you will find a brief overview of some of the features, but please feel free to call us for more information:

Financial support: maximum of €450,000, focused on the early development phase;
Project duration: between 1 and 2 years;
Type of investment: convertible loans;
Interest rate: 5% plus reference interest rate.

Below you will find a brief overview of some of the features, but please feel free to call us for more information:

Financial support: maximum of €1,000,000;
Type of investment: share capital, possibly in combination with a convertible loan;
Entrepreneur's own contribution;
We generally aim for an exit after 5 to 7 years.

Know Your Customer

LIOF offers entrepreneurs financial support for innovation and development. As a financial institution, LIOF is obliged to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) legislation. You can read more about this here.
