Take a seat in the Euregion
Take a seat in the Euregion is a program and stems from the euregional cooperation between LRM, LIOF and NRW.BANK. It was developed to introduce startups to new markets and partners in Belgium and Germany and is facilitated by the three high-tech campuses in the Euregion.
Startups and scale-ups are constantly looking for ways to further develop themselves, access new markets and do business. We invite these companies - active in smart services, high-tech and digitalization - to cross the border and build their network in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Take a seat in the Euregion!
Reasons why you want to participate
- Market access and business opportunities in three countries
- Meet and learn from other startups and scale-ups in the Euroregion
- Direct access to market information and business partners
- Get to know neighboring regions and their business cultures.
What does the program look like?
After an online intake in which wishes and expectations are discussed, you get one fixed contact person. A contact who knows his way around the high-tech Euregion (B-NL-D). This allows you to benefit from an extensive network of business partners; technology related companies, incubators and knowledge institutions in all three countries. You will also get to know other startups, scale-ups, business partners and potential customers. We do this by giving your startup a place on one of the neighboring campuses (Corda Campus Hasselt, Brightlands Smart Services Campus and DigitalHUB Aachen).
Participating Parties
Take a seat in the Euregion is offered by Corda Campus (B), The Beacon (B), Brightlands Smart Services Campus (NL) and DigitalHUB (D). The program is supported by LIOF, LRM (B) and NRW.BANK (D).

Experiences of previous participants
Pieter Vansichen, CEO of Cobotracks (Incubathor) says: "I was very well received in Aachen. I can use the location not only as a work location, but also to receive potential customers. The introductions I received were very helpful. Take a seat is a nice added value as a resident incubator. I am even thinking of putting the Aachen location on my own website so that customers know that Germany is an interesting target for us."
