Feasibility Fund for SMEs
The Feasibility Fund of the Limburg Business Development Fund (LBDF) provides grants to test early ideas and determine whether they are technologically and/or economically feasible – the proof of principle. The grant amount is 35% of the total eligible costs, subject to a minimum of €15,000 and maximum of €50,000.
In the past period we have stimulated and supported many ideas, also financially. As a result, the budget for grants has been exhausted. We expect to inform you about new funding rounds soon. Please contact us to discuss possible alternatives.
Another requirement is that your company is actually located in Limburg (physically and actively present), and operates in one of the spearhead sectors in Limburg:
The following demonstrable costs of the feasibility study are eligible under the grant:
• Wage and labour costs (hourly fee of €60);
• Material costs, e.g. for a non-functional prototype
• Depreciation of property, plant, and equipment
• Costs for using the facilities;
• Costs for contracting third parties
The 'Grant Rules for Proof of Principle Fund (Feasibility Fund)' are given here.
