We provide financing to bring an idea or prototype to fruition or to facilitate a start. Your company is eligible for a grant, loan, or participation if you are actually located in Limburg (physically and actively present) and if you operate in one of the spearhead sectors in Limburg:
In the past few years we stimulated many innovations and supported start-up companies. However, the LBDF budgets are exhausted. This means you can no longer submit new applications. Please contact us to discuss which alternatives there might be for your need.

The LBDF Feasibilty Fund provides grants to test early ideas and determine whether they are technologically and/or economically feasible – the proof of principle. The grant amount is 35% of the total eligible costs, subject to a minimum of €15,000 and maximum of €50,000.

View the possibilitiesThe LBDF Seed Fund provides share capital to enable a knowledge-intensive start-up to raise additional growth capital or to break even. The amount of share capital varies between €100,000 and €500,000, paid in instalments, possibly in addition to financing provided by other parties (such as banks and investors).
