Many grant schemes are available for LIOF's three focus sectors of LIOF - agri-food, industry, and logistics. To support innovative developments or to strengthen your competitive position, for example.
But there are also grants for looking into the feasibility of ideas. We have been able to fund many good ideas recently. As a result, the available grant is currently limited and we cannot guarantee in advance that your application can be processed. The Limburg Business Development Fund (LBDF) offers a mix of financial resources to develop business concepts. This is subject to the condition that you have (or are considering) an actual office in Limburg and that you operate in one of the priority sectors in Limburg.
The SME Loan Fund (MKBLF) provides loans to help established SMEs move forward. With working capital and/or investments in fixed assets. This is subject to the condition that you have an actual branch in Limburg and are in the start or expansion/growth stage.

We offer a participating loan
Do you have a company, but not enough equity for expansion, acquisition, or investment in new developments? In that case, LIOF could be the ideal partner for a minority stake in the company. This means that we participate in the equity capital, possibly in combination with a subordinated loan from our Participation fund.
