STIPP

STIPP is a project of the Interreg Meuse-Rhine program. In full it stands for: SME Transition Innovation Partner Projects. The project stimulates cross-border cooperation between SMEs and scaleups in the Meuse-Rhine region of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The focus is on product and process innovations that contribute to social transitions: industrialization, circular economy and a healthy society.

What is STIPP?

STIPP is a project of the Interreg Meuse-Rhine program. In full it stands for: SME Transition Innovation Partner Projects. The project encourages cross-border cooperation between SMEs and scaleups in the Meuse-Rhine region of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The focus is on product and process innovations that contribute to social transitions: industrialization, circular economy and a healthy society.
This region is an innovative high-tech region with strengths in both research and industry - from SMEs to global companies. The potential of this region can be further enhanced by cross-border cooperation.


Partners of STIPP

The following partners are involved in this program:

  • LIOF (lead partner)
  • VLAIO TB (contact point of the Flemish government for all entrepreneurs in Flanders)
  • POM Limburg (development agency for Belgian Limburg)
  • Wallonia Entreprendre (business association for Wallonia)
  • AGIT (Aachener Gesellschaft für Innovation und Technologietransfer).
  • NMWP (German industry interest group).

How do you get in touch with companies across the border?

The partners can help you with this. They will help you look for the right cooperation companies as well as assist you in applying for subsidies. And this is free of charge. Would you like to take advantage of this? To do so, contact Martine Rousseau at martine.rousseau@liof.nl.


What funding is possible?

The amount of the grant is between €150,000 and €600,000. This depends on the number of companies involved outside their own region.

The scheme is currently open for support and applications.
