RWTH, HYPEREGIO en Interreg
Strengthening the Euroregion is one of the tasks of LIOF. This means that we also operate outside of Limburg and have a network to help entrepreneurs and increase their innovative capacity.
The Euroregion is strengthened by activities such as the cooperation with the RWTH in Aachen to promote innovation in industrial and logistics companies. The HYPEREGIO project brings companies and knowledge institutions in the Euroregion into contact with each other to allow them to innovate. LIOF is also a partner of Interreg Europe, a European programme aimed at strengthening the economy and cohesion in the European Union by promoting cooperation between regional areas in different countries.
We help entrepreneurs to increase their strength abroad by supporting the export of products and services to international markets, for example. We do this through our network. Our international trade developers will be pleased to put you in touch with the right parties. We focus on the agri-food, industry and logistics sectors.
LIOF also organizes incoming and outgoing trade missions to promote the exports of Limburg's companies.
Innovation. Expansion. Growth. Are you looking for co-financing to take things to the next level? LIOF issues loans to help SMEs move forward and has contacts with co-financiers in the region. These partnerships allow us to take more risks, which means that together we provide more financing. We've already helped many companies through co-financing with banks.
Does your company need knowledge for further development? To improve business processes, conduct research into applications or connect up with new developments, for instance? If so, LIOF will put you in touch with external specialists or knowledge institutions such as those from the Brightlands campuses, with which LIOF cooperates intensively.
