CrossRoads announces third call for proposals

Between 26 August and 4 October, companies in Flanders and the southern Netherlands can once again submit a grant application to CrossRoads. CrossRoads aims to support companies with innovative ideas for tackling social challenges and encourage them to work across borders. Attend the information session on 21 June to find out whether your project is eligible for support.

Over CrossRoads

CrossRoads Flanders-Netherlands is an accessible subsidy programme that encourages cross-border cooperation between SMEs. The project supports companies in finding a partner across the border and subsidises product and process innovations that contribute to societal transitions: sustainable entrepreneurship, sustainable energy, Industry 4.0 and health.

New call

The third CrossRoads call for proposals opens on 26 August. Companies can submit applications until 4 October. After the e-portal closes, the submitted innovation projects will be compared on the basis of a number of predetermined criteria. The projects that come out on top in the tender will receive funding. Each collaborative project must include at least one Flemish SME and one SME from the southern Netherlands. The subsidy percentage is 50%, with a maximum of €250,000 per project. The total subsidy budget for this call will be announced at the end of June.

Information session on 21 June

On Friday 21 June at 11 a.m., CrossRoads is organising an online information session. In an hour, Yves Ozog (VLAIO) and Liesbeth Leurs (InnovationQuarter) will tell you more about which projects are eligible, how to work towards an application step by step, and what support the programme offers. Yves Boonen from Plinius Labs will also tell you more about their CrossRoads project and how the application process went for them.
