The SME Innovation Promotion Region and Top Sectors (MIT) supports SMEs in the South of the Netherlands in setting up innovative projects. This ranges from knowledge acquisition and feasibility testing to R&D cooperation.
LIOF will be pleased to help you find out whether your project is eligible for an MIT Zuid grant. Not only will we put you in touch with the Stimulus organization, we can also assess your plan.
The government uses three instruments within MIT Zuid to promote the innovative strength of the Dutch SME sector. The submission period for 2019 is closed. We expect new MIT South openings for 2020. As soon as more is known about this, we will announce this on this site.
MIT South grants are available for entrepreneurs operating in:
At least two SMEs innovate or develop a product, production process or service in a collaborative R&D project. The ultimate goal is to ensure your company continues to grow. The cooperation with another Limburg SME will also augment your knowledge.

A feasibility project involves identifying the technical and economic risks of a proposed development. This may be supplemented by a small amount of industrial research or development. This will give you a clear impression of the resources you need to carry out the project.

With a knowledge voucher worth €3,750, you as an SME entrepreneur can have a specific question studied and answered by a knowledge institution.
