Three-day training course on Energy Hub development

As part of the ROMs' Smart Energy Hubs programme (ROM-Netherlands), the ROMs will be organising a three-day training course on energy hub development in 2026. We will be offering a total of four three-day training courses in 2026. The first two training courses will take place in the spring of 2026.
The training course is intended for professionals who are working on the development of energy hubs and want to move more quickly from idea to realisation.

Energy hubs in business parks are an indispensable link in the energy system of the future. At the same time, many energy hub initiatives are still in their infancy: the term is familiar, but the practice is complex.

What is this training?

In this three-day training course, we bring together the most up-to-date knowledge and practical experience from the initial and development phases of energy hub development in the Netherlands. No abstract theory, but a hands-on programme with:

  • specific tools
  • current practical cases
  • lessons from ongoing energy hub projects

The training contributes to capacity building within the energy hub ecosystem and thus to accelerating the energy transition.

Two levels: beginner and expert

The training is offered at two levels, so that the content and depth match your experience.

  • which strategic choices are appropriate for each phase of energy hub development
  • how to deal with legal, organisational and financial bottlenecks• how to make progress and actually realise projects• how to make an impact in your own practice.

What are the benefits for you?
