Three Limburg-based MedTech companies selected for the first TMC Netherlands BioBridge Program

Three innovative Limburg-based MedTech companies—Aliform, Ansana, and MLA Diagnostics—have been selected for the first TMC Netherlands BioBridge Program. Thanks to this international program, they will gain access to the Texas Medical Center (TMC) in Houston, the world’s largest medical ecosystem. Over the coming months, they will work there to accelerate their entry into the U.S. market.

For many MedTech companies, the United States is an attractive but complex growth market. The TMC Netherlands BioBridge Program begins in October and helps Dutch entrepreneurs successfully take this step.

The initiative is a collaboration between the Texas Medical Center (TMC), Invest International, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Health~Holland, the Task Force Health Care (TFHC), ROM-Nederland, NBSO Texas, and regional partners.

Accelerating International Growth

The program connects promising companies with healthcare professionals, researchers, investors, and entrepreneurs within the Texas Medical Center in Houston. In addition, they receive guidance on topics such as market access, regulations, business development, and attracting strategic partners.

The program thus not only provides valuable market insights, but also helps companies validate their business proposition and build sustainable partnerships in the United States.

Limburg is well represented

Of the twelve selected Dutch companies, three are based in Limburg:
•    Aliform
•    Ansana
•    MLA Diagnostics.

Their selection confirms the strong position of Limburg’s MedTech sector and demonstrates that innovative companies from the region are attractive partners internationally for collaboration and further growth.
