For whom is EDIH?

EDIH South Netherlands is there for the SME manufacturing industry, including supply and maintenance companies in sectors such as agrifood, process industry, semicon, medical systems, mechanical engineering and the automotive industry. Each of these sectors has its own challenges, EDIH Zuid-Nederland focuses on practical and concrete steps forward, looking for the best digital tools for each industry. 

What is EDIH?

The E.U. has created the European Digital Innovations Hubs (EDIHs) with the goal: "One stop shops that support SMEs and public organizations with their digital challenges, in order to become more resilient and competitive. 

The high-tech industry is undergoing tremendous development. Therefore, the entire chain, including suppliers but also other industrial companies are also facing challenges. How do they make practical choices and take next steps in these changes? Other sectors such as the food or chemical industry also have to face digital challenges and cash in on their opportunities in time to remain competitive with, for example, the United States and China.  

SME manufacturing companies from Zeeland, North Brabant and Limburg can turn to EDIH Zuid-Nederland (EDIHZNL) for support in their digitization efforts. This applies both to companies taking their first steps in this area and to companies that want to accelerate their digitization.
