STIPP
STIPP is a project of the Interreg Meuse-Rhine programme. Its full name is SME Transition Innovation Partners Projects. The project encourages cross-border cooperation between SMEs and scale-ups in the Meuse-Rhine region of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. It focuses on product and process innovations that contribute to social transitions: industrialisation, the circular economy and a healthy society.

What is STIPP?
STIPP is a project of the Interreg Meuse-Rhine programme. Its full name is SME Transition Innovation Partner Projects. The project encourages cross-border cooperation between SMEs and scale-ups in the Meuse-Rhine region of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. It focuses on product and process innovations that contribute to social transitions: industrialisation, the circular economy and a healthy society. This region is an innovative high-tech region with strengths in both research and industry – from SMEs to global companies. The potential of this region can be further strengthened through cross-border cooperation.

The following partners are involved in this programme:
- LIOF (lead partner)
- VLAIO TB (point of contact for the Flemish government for all entrepreneurs in Flanders)
- POM Limburg (development company for Belgian Limburg)
- Wallonia Entreprendre (business association for Wallonia)
- AGIT (Aachen Society for Innovation and Technology Transfer)
- NMWP (German association representing the interests of industry).
How do you get in touch with companies across the border?
The partners can help you with this. They will work with you to find the right partner companies and also help you with the subsidy application. And this is free of charge. Would you like to take advantage of this? Please contact Martine Rousseau at martine.rousseau@liof.nl.
What financing options are available?
The amount of the subsidy ranges from €150,000 to €600,000. This depends on the number of companies involved outside the region.
