CrossRoads Vlaanderen-Nederland
Ondersteuning van kansrijke innovaties over de grens
↵
CrossRoads Flanders-Netherlands is a project under the European Interreg Flanders-Netherlands programme and promotes cross-border cooperation between Flemish SMEs and SMEs in the southern Netherlands. The project provides funding for product and process innovations that contribute to societal transition priorities: the sustainable use of raw materials and energy, Industry 4.0/digitalisation, and healthcare.
Accessible support
Unfortunately, the network of small and medium-sized enterprises still too often stops at the national border. With CrossRoads, Interreg Flanders-Netherlands, REWIN, the Brabant Development Agency, VLAIO Business Support, Economische Impuls Zeeland, LIOF and InnovationQuarter are giving the existing potential in the border region a significant boost by supporting SMEs in their search for the perfect partner across the border and by subsidising their joint innovations.
Tackling societal challenges
CrossRoads Flanders-Netherlands focuses on innovations designed to address societal needs. The added value of these innovations for people in Flanders and the Netherlands is central to its work. The focus is on the societal transition priorities that are at the top of the agenda in both Member States:
The planned innovation projects will run for up to two years, with a maximum ERDF grant of €250,000, covering 50% of the total eligible costs. Each collaborative project must include at least one Flemish SME and one SME from the southern Netherlands. The aim is to select at least 50 innovation projects involving at least 125 companies.
The CrossRoads consortium also helps you find cross-border partners and provides support during and after the innovation project. You can find more information about the grant and regional contacts here
