CIRCO Track business chances by preservation
You are striving for cost reduction in your business processes? Towards a more future-proof business model? For a stronger position in the market? And you wonder whether this can be done in a sustainable way?
Then this workshop cycle is ideally suited for you. We inspire and support you to see and seize opportunities in your company and to take steps towards sustainability and business stability and growth. This requires different products, materials, services and business models. But how do you make this concrete and put it into practice?
The CIRCO track
LIOF and Rabobank, together with our partners of MKB Green Deal Sittard-Geleen, are organizing this three-day workshop to help you on your way. The unique aspect of this program is that you will do this together with other companies from your region.
From everyone's own position in the chain and business case you gain knowledge of circular entrepreneurship and circular (re-)design of your product or service, but also think of re-use, reduce and repair for example.
This three-day track starts 26 April and is specifically intended for companies based in the North Limburg region that want to make themselves sustainable and embed circularity in their business model and/or product.
In the leaflet you will find more information about the three workshop sessions and the costs for participation. For SMEs there is an attractive discount on the participation fee of 75%. The only condition is that you submit an application form with an extensive and clear motivation why you and your company want to participate.

CIRCO track Circular sports materials
Millions of pounds of sports materials end up in landfills every year. In addition to making sports facilities more sustainable, more attention is needed for circular sports materials.
There are about 23,000 sports associations in the Netherlands with over 4 million members. All those associations annually consume hundreds of thousands of sports products such as field hockey sticks, tennis rackets, balls and nets. But club clothing and equipment for weekly gym visits also contribute substantially to material consumption and disposal. This can and should be much more sustainable.
The world of sports products thus offers enormous opportunities to develop and realize more sustainable products. There are great business opportunities there for many companies in our region.
Think of new designs, new business models but also the application of new more sustainable materials and reduction of the use and consumption of materials in the production of sports materials.
This applies both to companies that are already active in the sports materials chain and companies that are not yet active but have specific knowledge and experience with, for example, the application or production of new materials.
Do you want to play a role in the sustainability of sports materials? Then this workshop cycle is ideally suited for you. We inspire and support you to see and seize opportunities in your company and take steps towards sustainability and business stability and growth.

Who is the CIRCO Track for?
The CIRCO Hub Limburg focuses primarily on SMEs in Limburg. For example, CIRCO tracks are possible for participants from the construction, manufacturing, plastics and consumer goods sectors. We can also set up special tracks for chain partners, an industry or a specific theme relevant to the circular economy, such as smart industry, Product-as-a-Service or Return Logistics. In short, contact us especially if you are interested in exploring the opportunities for your business and we will see if a track starts soon that fits well with your ambitions.
This CIRCO track is specifically intended for SMEs based in North Limburg.
What is a CIRCO track?
in seven steps from linear to circular
The CIRCO methodology offers a design approach, with which you design your circular value proposition (product, service, business model). During the CIRCO track you will discover circular business opportunities together with chain partners and develop your own case into a concrete plan, which is achievable for your company in the short term. You go through the track with a group of about 10 companies under the guidance of experienced trainers, who are active in the theme of the track. The group meets both physically and online and you follow online learning modules at times of your choice.
Who are the partners behind the Hub?
LIOF and Rabobank are the founders of the CIRCO Hub Limburg. Both organizations are strongly committed to a more sustainable Limburg, in which circularity plays an important role. They jointly help entrepreneurs during the track to realize their circular ambitions in practice.
The CIRCO method is used for this purpose. As a program of CLICKNL, CIRCO activates production companies and creative professionals to get started with circular design. By (re)designing products, services and business models circular entrepreneurship becomes possible in many cases. CIRCO is supported by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
The Province of Limburg endorses the importance of these tracks and supports this initiative through the program LimburgToekomstbestendig.
In order to make circular entrepreneurship the norm in and outside Limburg, we warmly invite other partners to work with us within specific tracks. We are already working with Triple Helix organizations such as Keyport. Would you and your organization like to be part of this Hub? Then please contact us. Together we can explore the possibilities.
