Missions to Japan in 2025
Expo 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan will take place in 2025. The World Expo is organized once every 5 years and next year's theme is "Designing future society for our lives. For companies, it offers a wonderful opportunity to enter into or strengthen international cooperation.
Two trade missions
The program of the missions consists of various business visits and networking activities in cooperation with the NL Embassy in Japan. An important part of the missions is the contribution and visit to the World Expo.
During the World Expo which lasts from April 13, 2025 - October 13, 2025, various themes will be discussed. In the period from June 5-16, the expo will be entirely devoted to 'Necessities of life, food, clothing and shelter'. In the Dutch pavilion we fill in this theme from 'Sustainable production and consumption of alternative proteins and healthy food'.
In the period from June 2-14, 2025, two missions will be organized for companies and organizations:
Due to the crowds in Osaka, Japan around the World Expo, we encourage companies to apply for one of the missions soon if interested to ensure availability.
For whom.
Companies, organizations and knowledge institutions active within one of the following themes:
- Alternative proteins
- Healthy eating.
The mission is a great opportunity to gain worldwide inspiration and make new contacts.
Organization
Regional Development Agency East NL, commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature, coordinates the program in the Dutch pavilion focused on "Sustainable production and consumption of alternative proteins and healthy food. The program is realized in close cooperation with regional development agencies and the LVVN Council of the Dutch Embassy in Japan, among others.
