ICT&health trade fair 2026
From 27 to 29 January, the ICT&Health World Conference will take place at MECC Maastricht. LIOF and Brightlands will be present at the exhibition floor to present the latest developments in healthcare innovation and technology together with partners from our ecosystem.
Brightlands Pavilion (Expo Foyer, Stand 1)
At the Brightlands Pavilion in the Expo Foyer, we are bringing together ten organisations that are actively contributing to the future of healthcare. You are welcome to come and talk to us and representatives from: Blended Clinic, Gaston Medical, KEMBIT, MindMedia, Maastricht University-DACS, Valid, Zuyd Knowledge Centre Data Intelligence and Zuyd EIZT.
Knowledge programme
In addition to our presence on the exhibition floor, three partners will be hosting substantive sessions during the conference programme. In these sessions, they will share practical experiences and visions on current themes:
- On 27 January (1:30–2:10 p.m.), Valid will discuss the transition to data-driven working and the importance of change management alongside IT aspects.
- On 28 January (2:25–3:05 p.m.), Kembit will use a case study to demonstrate how Microsoft 365 Power Apps can reduce administrative burdens and make processes more efficient.
- On 29 January (11:30 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.), Gaston Medical will demonstrate the added value of AI-supported decision-making (Clinical Decision Support) for both patients and healthcare professionals.
Company visits
LIOF also invites you to a series of company visits to three leading, innovative Limburg medtech companies, where you will see up close how international collaboration and targeted innovation contribute to more efficient care processes, faster diagnostics and more space for healthcare professionals. These companies are within walking distance of the MECC.
- On 27 January (3:00–4:00 p.m.), we will visit Simurghy in Maastricht, a developer of realistic (patient-specific) simulation solutions for surgical training.
- On 28 January (3:00–4:00 p.m.), we will be guests at Demcon (Maastricht), where mechatronics and smart technology are accelerating towards home care, remote monitoring and minimally invasive care—from development to upscaling.
- On 29 January (11:00–12:30), we will visit PathoFinder (Maastricht), which uses data and digital diagnostics to help respond more quickly to (new) infectious diseases, thereby contributing to a resilient healthcare system.
Matchmaking
LIOF is a partner of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the largest support network for organisations with international ambitions. On 28 January, EEN is organising a special B2B matchmaking event. This is your opportunity to connect with potential partners, customers or investors in one-on-one meetings.
