Flemish-Dutch Trade Day 2023
Are you ready to take your business across the border? Do you want to know more about doing business in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium? Come to the Flemish-Dutch Trade Day in Breda on November 27. Experts will tell you what is involved in working across the border.
For whom?
This trade day is for Flemish and Dutch companies who want to learn more about doing business across the border. It does not matter which sector you are active in. During this event you will get insights and practical tips to successfully do business in Belgium. In addition, you will have the opportunity to expand your network.
Why participate?
Although Belgium is close by and partly speaks the same language, doing business there is very different. You will hear what the differences are, what you have to take into account and how best to proceed on Monday, November 27.
During the Flemish-Dutch Trade Day you can gain knowledge and insights.
On the program are:
- Information/breakout sessions that include:
- Legal aspects of doing business internationally;
- Insight on social security and tax issues when working across borders;
- Practical tips for international employment contracts;
- Dealing with cultural differences while doing business;
- Effective marketing and sales in an international environment;
- Tax regulations, VAT and consumption tax;
- How to set up your organization and deploy leadership when expanding your foreign team.
- Matchmaking with potential business partners within your sector or service providers who can support you in your export plans.
- Information market at the networking plaza with interesting exhibitors who can support you in doing business in Belgium.
Practical
The trading day is scheduled from 11:30 am to 6:15 pm. Registration is possible until Monday, November 20, 2023. Participation in this day costs €60 incl. VAT per person.
