Who is it for?
The Business Innovation Programme Food supports start-ups and existing SMEs that want to make a powerful contribution to the food transition with their ideas. Within five modules, you will find answers to important questions that will ultimately form the basis for a sound business case. More than 80 companies have already successfully participated in the programme. Participants are diverse, including agriculture and horticulture, the food processing industry, data and technology companies, logistics service providers, and many others.
A step-by-step method in which we train you to get started with your vision, customer, product and impact at the right time and in the right way.
Five plenary theory sessions at a central location in the Netherlands, during which you will receive feedback from the trainers, coaches and other participants.
Practical assignments to prepare for and complete each module.
Valuable one-on-one guidance from a business development specialist at your local regional development agency (ROM).
A conclusion with a 100-day plan, so that you can continue to work on specific goals even after the programme has ended.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 0.5 FTE per participating company during the ten weeks that the programme runs. This means that your company will be asked to contribute an average of 20 hours per week. Attendance at the sessions (five times on a Wednesday morning), including completion of the associated assignments.
