InnovationProject LimburgToerisme
An InnovationProject instrument can be used to obtain funding for an innovation project in which the activities focus on the development of an innovative concept, service or product, from testing to the pilot phase and/or initial implementation.

The Innovation Project The Innovation Project is part of the program LimburgTourism. The program encourages and supports SMEs in the tourism and recreation sector in Limburg to develop innovative products and services. This can be in the form of an individual project or a collective project.
It all starts with a personal meeting. Together with you, we look at what your question or need is. And then we will start a joint project. On this page we give you a short overview of the process steps and you will find all relevant information.
LIOF can contribute to the costs of this development through this financing instrument:
individual variant; 35% support, maximum € 10,000
collective variant; at least 2 SMEs, 35% support, maximum € 25,000.

Submit the final application in accordance with the guidelines in the application form
You will receive a message from us about the admissibility of the application.
If your application is admissible, it will be assessed by LIOF.
You will receive feedback from us about the assessment and a decision.
The assessment takes place on the basis of the tender principle, with four openings per calendar year.
The assessment by LIOF has a maximum duration of six working weeks: from the date the tender is closed until the time it is granted.
Payments are made on the basis of a 50% advance of the financial contribution granted at the time it is granted and 50% on the basis of a decision after a substantive and financial statement has been made.
